Implant Placement with Surgical Guide at Neosmiles

Treatment Description

This involves replacing the root of a missing tooth with a biocompatible titanium abutment that integrates with the bone. We use three-dimensional digital planning to design a custom surgical guide that allows us to place the implant with millimeter precision, reducing procedure time and improving patient comfort.

When and Why Is It Necessary?

It is the ideal option when one or more teeth are missing. It is necessary to restore full chewing function, prevent neighboring teeth from shifting, and prevent the bone loss that naturally occurs when a tooth root is missing, thus maintaining the structure and harmony of the face.

What is the Recovery Like?

The use of surgical guides makes the process minimally invasive. During the first three to five days, there may be slight swelling or discomfort, which is easily managed with the professional instructions provided. The process of complete integration with the bone is silent and allows the patient to resume their normal life almost immediately.
